Visit To The State Fair

On Saturday morning we decided to take Jackson to the Michigan State Fair. It is the 160th anniversary and unfortunately, the final one. We had a great time and Jackson seemed absolutely fascinated by everything he saw. We were there for 2-hours, and he sat up in his stroller staring at everything with his head turning from side to side like he was afraid he was going to miss something.

Jackson is rocking his "safari" hat!

We saw pigs (the piglets were too cute)...

And cows (the baby had just been born 2 days before). Jackson seemed enthralled by the Mom & Baby... And of course, chickens, goats, sheep, horses, etc. We took him down to the mid-way to experience all the sounds and activity with the games and rides and once again he seemed just fascinated by everything. I was kind of surprised that the noise didn't seem to bother him, but he just sat there watching everything. I was even more surprised that when we left it had been almost 4-hours since he had last ate and he wasn't fussing for food yet (this from a kid who takes eating VERY seriously). Apparently he was so interested in everything around him that he didn't realize he was hungry!
