Jackson had his first haircut about 2 weeks ago (I'm HORRIBLY behind in getting the blog updated). I hadn't really planned on getting his haircut quite so soon (either that or I thought the Bohemian look was just too cute and I didn't want to cut his curls), but Phil said that it was either we get it done by a professional or he was taking his clippers to his head while I was at work. So we made an appointment with a very nice lady who has been doing kids hair for quite some time.
Jackson did much better than we thought he would. Up until about 2 weeks ago if water even came near his head he would flip out - combine that with someone he doesn't know touching his head and we thought we might be in for a fight. But Jackson surprised us, I sat in the chair holding him and he sat there like a little man pointing to all the new things around him and very interested in the people watching him. He did get a little squirmy about halfway through so I had him stand on my lap and she put the finishing touches on the new do. He even allowed her to use the clippers on the back of his head to even out the bottom!
