It's has amazed Phil and I over the past few days that Jackson is now 1 year old and is officially no longer considered an infant. We have spent the past few days remembering that first week of Jackson's life. From his unexpected birth (and what a peanut he was compared to now), to his unexpected return to the hospital and the next week of back and forth to St. Joe's and even the weather that we had to struggle through to get back and forth to the hospital. This has been a year of first's for all of us and we know that 2010 will bring a whole new set of first's.

We had two small birthday parties for Jackson, one at my parent's and one at Phil's parent's. I have attached the whole folder because some of the pictures can show Jackson's true reaction to things. He wasn't quite sure what to do with the cake at first, but once he figured it out, he has shown that he is totally a frosting boy. Now he just digs his whole fist in and sucks the frosting off his hand.
