Jackson has been saying words like "Mama" "Dada" "No" for a bit now, but I want to go on record as saying his first "real" word is Basketball. We have a basketball hoop in our backyard that he is just enchanted with, so every time we are in the backyard and he points at it I have been teaching him to say basketball hoop. This past week he surprised me by pointing at it one day and saying basketball. Of course now everything is basketball, and I had to chuckle this morning when I woke up to hearing him in his crib saying basketball over and over.
When I pull out the camera he immediately stops what he is doing or saying, so this was take number 5 at lunch but I finally got him on video saying it.
