Over the past few weeks Jackson has become much more mobile and interested in everything. One of his new favorites has become our basement stairs. Last week I put him on the floor (about the middle of the basement) with some toys so that I could switch out some laundry (Phil was in the garage). While switching the laundry I could still hear the toys going so I knew that he was still in about the same area. When I grabbed the stuff from the dryer and walked out of the laundry room I didn't see him at first. Then I took a few more steps, it was at this point that I saw him on step number 5 out of 9 - he pushed himself into a standing positing and turned to look at me - lets just say that I didn't realize that I could move that fast. Thankfully he got back onto his hands and knees to continue climbing before I ruined his fun - so the new rule (and we seem to get new rules everyday) is to barricade the stairs even if we are in the basement and close by.
That being said, I thought today it would be fun to give everyone a peak into our "stair master" and the pure joy he has when it comes to climbing stairs.
Now all he needs is a slide to get back down! :)
